Jason 'Tomo' Thompson created Skydive Aurora in 1999. Previously, he spent 14 years in the British Army Parachute Regiment and as a member of the elite Pathfinder Platoon. Having amassed a wealth of experience and over 7,500 jumps, Tomo now shares his passion for the sport of skydiving by providing expert tuition and unique experiences for his students. Experienced in all aspects of the sport, Tomo holds current qualifications under both the British Parachute Association and United States Parachute Association. His ratings include Category System Instructor, Accelerated Freefall Instructor, Tandem Instructor, Formation Skydiving Coach, Canopy Piloting Coach, Advanced Packer and Advanced Instructor. He also holds several World Records in Skydiving. Tomo is proud to hand pick the Instructors that are available to you, and ensures that their diligence and professionalism come up to his own exacting standards. Through Skydive Aurora, Tomo and his Instructors provide a special combination of thorough training and emphasis on safety along with a sociable, fun atmosphere in which everyone is welcome. |
